Help us fill the gap: Seeds needs $10K for our 10th year 🌱

Help Seeds raise $10,000 for our 10th anniversary

Dear Friends,

For ten years, We Are the Seeds, an Indigenous women-led organization, has created opportunities for Indigenous arts, cultures, education, and community in Philadelphia.

As we mark our 10th anniversary, we are asking our community to help us raise $10,000 by September 30 to keep this work moving forward.

Over the past decade, we have developed more than 200 programs, reached more than 20,000 students through Seeds Classroom, welcomed thousands each year to our community programs, and shared Indigenous voices around the world through our podcast, From Here, With a View.

But this anniversary comes at a challenging moment. This year alone, Seeds has lost approximately $50,000 in anticipated funding, and changes to arts funding in Pennsylvania have made fiscally sponsored organizations like ours ineligible for funding we had previously been on track to receive.

Your gift helps us invest directly in Indigenous artists and culture bearers, bring Indigenous arts and cultures into schools, produce year-round community programs, share Indigenous stories, and grow the Seeds Indigenous Listening Garden.

If you can, please consider making a gift. Even $5 makes a difference. If you can't give right now, sharing our campaign is another meaningful way to support Seeds.

Ten years ago, we began with a commitment to creating more opportunities for Indigenous artists and strengthening Indigenous communities in the Philadelphia region. Ten years later, we are still here, continuing that work with your support.

Thank you for helping us carry it forward.

With gratitude,

Tailinh Agoyo, Executive Director & Co-Founder
