Help Us Reach Our Goal
As We Are the Seeds continues to create spaces for Indigenous artists, storytellers, and communities to gather, we invite you to support our work. This month, our goal is to raise $5,000 to help sustain our programming and community initiatives.
Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue building Indigenous futures rooted in creativity, culture, and connection.

This garden builds on years of work to advance representation, support Native artists and Philadelphia’s communities, and increase opportunities for cultural exchange and record.
The foundation of our garden is native, culturally significant plants rematriated to the soil. It's the setting for soundscapes and sculptural installations by Indigenous artists, storytelling and archiving with the Philadelphia community, and organizing for environmental and climate justice.
We are grateful for early funding from the People's Media Fund, Bread & Roses Community Fund, and the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.
Using Penn’s Treaty with the Indians as a conceptual anchor, this multimedia theater piece centers contemporary Indigenous presence, creativity, and joy while confronting historical erasure and ongoing threats to sovereignty. The work invites audiences to reflect on how myths become monuments and who those myths serve.

A multidisciplinary exhibition featuring historical ephemera, beadwork, and photography, exploring how memory, storytelling, and perception shape our understanding of ourselves, others, and the world around us. October 20.
