Hello, Seedling Nurturers!

Thank you so much for joining us at Bartram's Garden for the Ecological Re-Storyation Workshop back in May. Almost two months have passed, and I hope many of you have had success with your seeds!

We are READY to welcome your seedlings to the Seeds Indigenous Listening Garden - land that is their native home!

How to gift your seedlings:

Starting Saturday, August 8, the garden will be ready to receive your seedlings at 3624 Brown St in Mantua.

  1. Pick a spot. You'll find a special Root Song x Plant Baby Plant area in the garden (look for the sweetgrass!) with pre-made holes to drop in your pot. The pots are fully biodegradable, so you can plant them in the ground as is.
  2. Top up with compost. Once your pot is in the ground, add a light layer of compost, making sure that the pot is fully covered.
  3. Add water. Give your plant her first drink of water to welcome her home!
  4. Celebrate! What a beautiful gift you've given to Lenapehoking. Thank you!

We will do our best to be at the garden on Saturdays and Wednesdays to support these plantings. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to us at garden@wearetheseeds.org.
