Y'all showed up for
Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who joined us. Together we created a powerful celebration of presence, culture, and community in our city.
Thank you to the dancers, singers and artists who shared their gifts with us, and to our staff, volunteers, and partners who welcomed everyone with care.
Seeds Philly has always been a place for joy, laughter, connection, and strength. This year again reminded us of the power of coming together and being seen, heard, and celebrated. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve built together and are deeply thankful to all of you for being part of it.
Help us celebrate our version of Philadelphia's 250th with a donation.

(Indi)genius that's inspiring us lately:
Leilehua Lanzilotti. beyond the accident of time. "This work honors Isamu Noguchi’s never fully-realized Bell Tower for Hiroshima, 1950 (partially reconstructed 1986). Noguchi imagined the bells for Bell Tower for Hiroshima coming from all over the world. In my piece, I interpret the sculpture not as a physical object that would be built in Hiroshima, but as a sonic concept that could be recreated around the world."

|
Sean Sherman. Turtle Island. "Exemplifying how Native foodways can teach us all to connect with the natural world around us, Turtle Island features rich narrative histories and spotlights the communities producing, gathering, and cooking these foods, including remarkable stories of ingenuity and adaptation that capture the resilience of Indigenous communities."
|
Julian Brave NoiseCat. We Survived the Night. "A stunning narrative from one of the most powerful young writers at work today, and the director of the Oscar-nominated documentary, Sugarcane, We Survived the Night interweaves oral history with hard-hitting journalism and a deeply personal father-son journey into a searing portrait of Indigenous survival, love, and resurgence."

Dana Tiger. Tiger. Tiger highlights an Indigenous award-winning, internationally acclaimed artist and elder, Dana Tiger, her family, and the resurgence of the iconic Tiger t-shirt company.

A Philadelphia-based Land Back project rooted in food sovereignty, art, and wellness, integrating Indigenous knowledge, ecology, and creativity to restore Indigenous relationship, responsibility, and care for the earth. |
Generous grants from The William Penn Foundation, Public Media Foundation, The Philadelphia Cultural Fund, and Native Voices Rising make our programs possible.
However, much of the essential behind-the-scenes staff work, including program development, relationship-building, and coordinating inclusive, well-run events, is sustained by individuals like you.
With your support, Seeds ensures pay equity for Indigenous artists and culture bearers, all while creating space for Indigenous joy and visibility in Philadelphia and beyond.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Your generosity keeps our work strong and our communities connected. Thank you for your donation.
